The islands of Trinidad and its
sister Tobago are the southernmost islands in the Caribbean and the
closest to Venezuela. The islands are the third most populated island
in the Caribbean after Cuba and Jamaica.
The Trinidad & Tobago consists
of two big islands and a few very small islands around Tobago.
Trinidad is the main cultural and financial districts of the
country. Tobago, the quieter island, is one of the Caribbean's great
unspoiled resorts, with beautiful beaches, outstanding diving, coral
reefs, championship golf, and a rich Heritage Festival each
summer.
Major cities such as the capital city
Port-of-Spain, San Fernando and San Juan are located on Trinidad. Tobago's major cities are Scarborough and Plymouth and Charlotteville.
